television and google are incorrect. Soy milk wont burn fat, eating less calories than your body uses will make you lose fat.0 -

The simple answer is no. Soy milk does not absorb fat.
The complex answer has to do with the difference in amount of saturated fats in cow milk versus soy milk. So, yes, technically, soy milk may marginally reduce fat deposits in the arteries over cow's milk. However, drinking the most common soy milks that are sweetened probably is worse for heart disease. Skim milk versus unsweetened so milk is pretty much a toss up nutritionally unless you need the calcium in cow's milk.0
