Hi guys I am new to my fitness pal I want to lose weight and gain lean muscle can u guys maybe help I only train at home and play table tennis for my cardio

    Low deficit, lift heavy.

    You can't really both lose and gain at the same time, however you can lose body fat as above. Then go on a careful clean bulk, rinse and repeat.

    As soon as you lose body fat your muscles will likely /look/ bigger anyway. So that's a plus.

    recomp...eat at maintenance...lift heavy.

    takes a long time and patience and careful attention to macros...

    I would personally prefer that over bulking.
