whats the most effective technique to work out the butt?

Are you trying to make it bigger or smaller? That is the question lol . I do a LOT of butt workouts if you want to add me. Its all in my diary. Strength day I use to build, plyo/resistance day to tone. Either way, the moves will all hit the butt--> the key is: to make it smaller do lighter weight with lots of reps, to make it bigger heavy weight with less reps (8). You can google what Ive listed in my diary to see examples of how to do them.

Hip thrusts, glute bridges, squats, and Romanian deadlifts, and conventional deadlifts.0 -
Straight leg deadlifts, weighted bridges, leg raises/donkey kicks IMO I feel my glutes activate the most.0

No. To make it bigger eat at a surplus and lift heavy, to make it smaller and keep your muscle so it's a nice looking butt-eat at a deficit and lift heavy.0 -
Part of it will be defined by your genetics. BUT .. as the above poster said .. Lose weight = smaller butt = caloric deficit. Gain weight = bigger butt = caloric surplus.
Regardless of what you do, do heavy squats.0 -
