Short girl looking to lose around 20lbs!

Hi guys,
I've always been pretty diet and fitness obsessed but never been able to get the body I actually want! I've done a lot of yoyoing over the years and I'm currently at my highest weight ever, so it's about time I did something about it. I'm looking to chat to some people who have similar height/stats to me so that we can motivate each other. I'm 23, 4ft 11ins tall and I currently weigh 126lbs. My goal is 105lbs and I'm hoping to reach that by about July/August because I'm going on holiday then, although I want to make these changes for life!
I go to the gym three times a week and do Les Mills classes when I'm there, which I mix up between Pump, Body Attack, Body Combat, Grit Plyo (HIIT) and I've just started doing the odd Insanity class there too. I'm also calorie counting
Are there any groups I can join for shorter ladies?
Thanks x

I'm 5ft, 153lbs with around a 26% BF and a dress size 12 UK. I'm quite into weight training so not really worried about my weight as such! But I do want to lose about 14lbs before summer, but for me its more about the Body Fat. Can never really seem to stick to a diet though

5'2 is definitely short enough haha! Although you're tall compared to meCTHOMPSON05 wrote: »I'm 5ft, 153lbs with around a 26% BF and a dress size 12 UK. I agree that it's not so much about the scale but more about how you look and feel! I don't know my body fat but when I had a PT last summer I think it was around 24% and I'd like to lose someI used to be so good at calorie counting but these days I can't stay away from the chocolate and the wine lol! So as of tomorrow I'm going to be super good!

Hey! 4'11, 22, and 130lbs right now! I'm also aiming for 105lbs.
If you wanna help motivate each other, I'm definitely down!

Hi. I'm the similar to you. 4 ft 11 and 137lb, would like to lose around 20 lbs. haven't been able to get back to pre baby weight. I do a couple of Zumba classes a wk but just seem to be gaining muscle. I've just started calorie counting and finding it easier than other diets I have tried.0

Definitely! We can totally do this, I just need to stop seeing it as a really long stretch in front of me and take it week by week... which is what I struggle with!TanyaPigott wrote: »Hi. I need to commit to the calorie counting! As of tomorrow no more chocolate... because I can't be trusted to just have 'one' piece lol. I end up eating it all and then having to have a really small dinner because otherwise I'll go over my calories lol!0 -

Sorry. Still trying to get used to this. I'm 5', 46 yo and started at 152 just over a week ago. I've been procrastinating forever about losing weight even knowing I need to for health issues. I'm hoping by keeping track and seeing what I'm eating will hold me more accountable.0

4'11! 37 years old and finally lost weight since my 2nd child was born (3 years later!) now I'm 135lbs and my next goal is 130 (which is what I weighed before my first was born). Then I'll set another goal, but I like small goals. It took me almost 2 years to keep 20lbs off. Every day is a struggle.0
