Purdy's Hedgehogs!!! Quality is where its at with treats. I always save room for a little chocolate. I sit down, turn off the t.v and have an "alone time moment" with every piece of chocolate that gets consumed. Just gotta let it melt on my tongue.. Mmm CHOCOLATE!
I take chocolate eating very seriously.

Omg cant believe im admitting this but yes i used to spend $10 a week to buy the family size bags of peanut butter cup minis. I swear my intestines were probably lined in chocolate with peanut butter filling!

    I have chocolate.

    Me, too. Usually Lindt.

Those Fiber One bars are decent, but they give me mega bloat, so I stay away.
Me too! They taste great but too ebol on my tummy

I've never been one for super sweet chocolate on a regular basis. I'll eat it but it's not satisfying for a chocolate yearning.

I like really dark chocolate. My current go-to is Lindt 85% dark chocolate with a natural peanut butter (ground peanuts and maybe touch of salt) spread on it. Usually 1/2 serving of each is more than enough and so yummy.

Life's too short to waste on bad chocolate.

    30 M&Ms = 105 calories. Almost every day.
  • I've found the brand Pure Protein -- they make a bar that's chocolate salted caramel - it's REALLY yummy, has 20 g of protein and it's about 200 calories.

I bought brownie brittle because I've seen people rave about it for several months on the forums.
Pretty good, but I was expecting something more like A chocolate candy brittle, and less like a cracker/biscuit/cookie. It seems like I could make the same thing just by taking brownie batter and spreading it thin on a cookie sheet, bake, break apart, and bake again in low temp oven (like biscotti or crackers/biscuit)

A small spoonful of peanut butter with a couple of chocolate chips on it. Or the skinny cow fudge ice cream bars. Or a chocolate protein shake made with dark chocolate almond milk. :)

WTH is a small spoonful of peanut butter?

This is me eating peanut butter. Every time.

What else are you doing with this cocoa powder? I just bought some today and added it to nonfat greek yogurt and it tasted like funk. I didn't add any sweetener though. I'm like...the least creative food person ever.

Not too much. I use it in PB banana shakes maybe once every 2 weeks. For Superbowl Sunday, I made flourless brownie bites.

I tried making hot cocoa with almond milk and dark chocolate cocoa powder, but it definitely needed a sweetener.

Well, chocolate. Made a chocolate cheesecake with ganache today, and that works very well.

Here's the recipe if anyone s interested.

    Chocolate Cheesecake

    Ingredients

    Base
    125g’s digestive cookies
    60g’s butter, melted
    1 tbsp cocoa

    Filling

    175g’s dark chocolate
    500 g’s cream cheese
    150g’s sugar
    1 tbsp birds eye
    3 large eggs
    150 ml sour cream
½ tsp cocoa dissolved in 1 tbsp of hot water

    Glaze
    75g’s dark chocolate
    125 ml 35% cream
    1 tbsp maple syrup

    Method
Crumb the digestive cookies, then add the butter and cocoa to combine. Put in the freezer.
Melt chocolate over a double boiler. Beat cream cheese to soften in a stand mixer, add sugar and custard powder and combine. Beat in whole eggs and yolks, then add the sour cream. Add the cocoa, then the melted chocolate.
Line the outside of a 9” or 11” spring form pan with plastic wrap, then tinfoil. Pour filling into spring form. Set the spring form into a Bain Marie and add hot water coming up about halfway and bake in a 350 oven until set, about 60-70 minutes.
Melt glazing chocolate and cream over a double boiler, then add the syrup, whisk until smooth. Pour over cooled cheesecake and allow to drape over the sides. Allow to set.

Arctic Zero Lactose Free Chocolate Ice Cream! It only has 150 calories an entire pint! With ice cream, I have a habit of eating the entire pint, but this gives me absolutely no guilt. It has the same exact texture as real ice cream, but it is not as rich. It still gives me my chocolate fix though.

Homemade hot chocolate! It's my go to dessert after pretty much every meal. It goes something like this:

    0.5 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    Stevia to taste
    Dash of vanilla extract
Pinch of instant coffee (to bring out the chocolate flavor)
Enough hot water to fill a mug
    Cream or milk lighten

Comes in at about 50 cals and definitely hits the spot for me.

Dark chocolate or sugar-free brownies or unsweetened cocoa powder mixed into my coffee. I've never found a cereal or protein bar that really tasted like chocolate to me.
