    4/8 - blew off my swim to say goodbye to my sister and niece before they left for Charlotte (they're moving :cry: my BIL has been down there since mid-Feb)
    4/9 - 4.25 miles steady run with rolling hills in 45:19, followed by my make up swim of 3100Y easy in 1:15:48 - total 2:01:07
    4/10 - 3x800Y TT swim with 2 min rest btw in 58:13

    4/12 - Brick - 40 miles on the bike in 2:53:54 (first real outside ride of the season!) and 3 mile run in 31:12 - total 3:35:06
    4/13 - 20.16 mile ride in horrid wind with my teammates in 1:26:33

    Saturday's ride was a tough one that included hills, wind, more wind, continued wind, a sudden weather change from reasonably warm to freezing cold and rainy ... the wind swung around to be a full-on headwind just then ... and because I had twisted my ankle shortly before the ride, it was giving me some trouble the hill/wind combos where I was really pushing.

    Sunday's ride was a walk-in-the-park by comparison.

    Great scenery both days.

    I have now crossed the 13,000-mile mark (since Sept. 1, 2012) in my Virtual Ride Around the Equator and am more than halfway "around the world" from where I started! This places me at the longitude of Tripura, India (about 24 degrees N of the Equator).
