Quest protein powder measured in tbsp?

I know one scoop is 28g. But I'm trying to figure out how much one scoop is in either tablespoons or cups? I know you can't to a direct conversion but I wondered if anyone has measured.

Thanks!

It's not very accurate to 'measure' this kind of stuff, so they list it by weight. A food scale would help quite a bit :)

I realize that's not what you asked, but I don't have a calculator for that. I just wanted to throw in my thought about weighing it for accuracy :)

Someone probably will answer it though!

Isn't a tbsp about 15g? so one scoop would be about 2 tbsp.
I think I would measure and weigh if it were me, just for peace of mind

A tbsp is 15ml. Doesn't mean it's 15g. I weigh protein powder, and use an entry where I can enter a specific number of grams, not "scoops"

I don't have a food scale which is why I was asking.
I took an actual tablespoon measuring cup and spooned protein powder in till it filled the scoop up and it ended up being 5 tablespoons. I was surprised how much it was but I don't know if you guys have ever seen the Quest protein shake scoop but it's a huge scoop! Most of the powders I've seen have a like spoonful size scoop but it's a huge like bucket full of powder

Hopefully this helps someone out there. Just use another measure device to spoon powder into your scoop to find out how much is in there

I tend to get really obsessive over stuff like grams and then I go into sixteenth of a gram and it just gets insanely obsessive so I know myself and that's why I do not have a food scale. It's not the money. I'm OK with cups and tablespoons and if that means I have to approximate a bit that's OK because that's healthier for my mind.

Thanks, peaceloveabby01! I don't have a food scale, but like to use cups and tablespoons, too. One of those giant Quest scoops is WAY too much for my oatmeal, and I put in 2 tablespoons this morning, and was trying to figure out how to track it. Thanks for figuring out that 1 scoop equals 5 tablespoons!

I'm glad it could help!! I'm the same way, sometimes I don't want a whole stop and so I have a tablespoon amount and want to log it. I may be off by a tiny bit but for the most part that's accurate plus or minus a calorie haha
