I believe you can never have to much motivation!

I could use support and motivation but as someon who has struggled with my weight my whole life the tough love approach doesn't work with me. I've had many Try to help me lose weight by making me hate myself for being over weight. But I'm thick because I use food for comfort. So tough love just makes me eat more. So I guess what I'm saying is I could use a friend like you depending on your approach to weightloss and a healthy life style.0

Tough love is never the answer.. You cannot force a person to do something..Motivation should be based on helping your change your outlook on life, your goals and your desires... You have to answer basic question.. Honestly! Why do you want to lose weight? and then build on that....0

Because I've use my weight to keep people at a distance my whole life. It is a self depricating cycle. I love who I am as a person. I just want to love my body too. I have a lot of emotional scars and I use food to compensate. But it just makes me feel ugly and worthless. It is my whole being that needs to heal. I think I have a better chance of success if I work on my body as I work on my emotional well being because in my case they are very closely tied.0
