I have used MFP before and lost 10 lbs but when I stopped posting I gained it back so this time I hope to get a better long term life adjustment. I need to lose around 25 lbs. I want to lose slowly and set small goals.

I recently bought a fitbit to help me get moving. It is great. I would like a challenger to help me stay moving. I have terrible allergies and asthma so I have days that become very slow.

I am retired and my husband recently retired on disability..... This has slowed me down because I use anything as an excuse to spend sitting time with him.

I live in Texas and well over 50. I WOULD ENJOY A CHALLENGER ........

Hi Amy, I have asthma and allergies too...but the conditions have improved over the last 18 months watching my nutrition, exercising, stretching and doing yoga. I too am over 50...more of a reason to get moving. Welcome

Thank you...... I am hoping improved diet and increased exercise will help with asthma.

Over 50 as well. I'm taking the slow approach with daily calorie target at 1400-1800 with exercise. I'm not hungry and losing weight. My diet was so bad, I had to learn to eat all over again.

I feel like I am having to do that also. What I read one day can be contradicted the next. Before 40 my diet was terrible. Sodas and chips Now I have to do some changes for the better
