No, eating too little won't stall your weight loss. It can however set you up for malnutrition. Are you weighing and logging your foods accurately? You may be eating more than you think you are.0

If you open your diary, you may get more useful advice. Eight days is way too soon to say you are getting nowhere.
Why are you rarely hitting your goal? It won't hurt your weight loss, but undereating could hurt YOU. It can impact your energy level, cause health complications (if done long-term), and generally makes life much less fun. It will also make any weight loss you see more likely to come from muscle than fat.0 -
Doesn't hurt your weight loss, but it will hurt your health.0

No.
And eight days isn't a big enough sample size to tell you anything about your weight loss and how it is going.0 -
Ive been going to the gym for 2 months now and lost around 5 pounds so far, maybe a little more. Ididnt weigh myself when i first started. I was taking CLA and protein shakes but i stopped cause of the calories, they were more than i was burning. I dont know if im on the right track or i should change what im doing.0

You might be retaining water through all the cardio and stress you are putting your body through that will mask fat loss for a while (and thus "hurt" scale weight).0

If you rarely hit your calorie goal, why are you cutting out foods due to their calories?
You've lost five pounds in two months, which is pretty good. If you just started tracking your calories eight days ago, it's too soon to tell if you are on the right track or if you should change something.

Cutting protein shakes instead of cutting food is fine, but I believe that your OP says that you are have not been meeting your calorie goal. Am I misreading?
Or were you exceeding it before and you have been under the past eight days?0 -

Drink plenty of water, don't go overboard on sodium, don't over-stress your body. Water weight isn't something to worry about - if you have started a new and vigorous exercise program, it's just a side effect.

Yes i was excedding it before so i stopped the shakes and CLA i didnt see it doing me anygood and dont know what it really is supposed to do. Maybe i am doing okay i just have doubts.0

If you eat under your calorie goal you will loose weight, I lost 2 stone in a matter of months (down to bmi 20.1) from eating under my calorie so it clearly doesn't hurt weight loss0
