What is your timeline for losing 10-14 lbs? Are you thinking of using only Slim Fast and not eating anything else? Your post is lacking in details so it's difficult to provide you feedback.0

I've done the Slim Fast thing years ago. It is a vicious cycle.
Losing weight is eating less and/or moving more. Just find a combination of those 2 things you can live with for a long time. Dianne posted lots of helpful threads.0 -

Pretty much just said everything I was about to post. If you don't make permanent changes, you will always end up back where you started. Or worse.0 -
So sorry new here! I have degeneration scoliosis and it is so hard for me to exercise...other than the pool which is coming soon...I weigh 187..s' 3" 52 y.o. female and I have got to get that much weight off and more for I can't afford a new wardrobe. But my goal is to get to 150 then get to 130. So ty for your help I'm new to this all!0

Slim fast tastes like chalk to me. I'll never go back to that sort of thing. I'd much rather eat the foods I enjoy and lose weight.
Pro-tip: Log your food everyday on MFP and follow your calorie goal. Don't look for quick fixes. Get some exercise (walking is just fine). You'll lose weight.0 -

When you signed up for this app, how many calories did it give you? Eat those. Go for filling foods like proteins, fat, and vegetables. Continue for 10-20 weeks. Exercise is wonderful, but not actually necessary for weight loss.0 -
Thank you so much...I am trying low carbs also but I blew it today by going out of town and eating fast food twice. Now I have a h/a due to the sugar and carbs! I also feel like a lose0

Eat at a deficit and you'll lose. You want to do so in a sustainable way, so you can keep it off. Patience.0
