So I've started and quit trying to get in shape a million times and my biggest issue is losing motivation and not having any accountability. I would love to have a personal trainer because I'm the type of person who does best when someone I don't know is constantly telling me to do more. I'm looking for someone to be able to chat with on a regular basis who will constantly remind me to log my food and do my exercise. I have my plan worked out I just need outside support if anyone is interested.

I'm not a personal trainer, but would love to help in anyway!! I get this way too! I'd happily message you or encourage!

if i only did things i was motivated to do, i would just sit on the couch and snack and watch netflix.

this is something you have to want to do. in the end you are accountable only to yourself.

You may be able to find folks here to remind you to stay on track, but the reality is that if you stop logging in, that goes away. MFP friends won't replace a flesh and blood person who knows your face, name and your phone number. The only place I know of where you can get that support for free is Overeaters Anonymous, or look for a local friend or friends to support you, preferably friends who share similar struggles.
