Kelp?! Does anyone take this suppliment?

My co-worker recently started taking kelp (not to lose weight) for its many health benefits, she said to look into it. Along with other things it mentioned a metabolism boost. Has anyone had this happen?

Kelp is supposedly really good for you. However in lieu of a supplement I eat kelp noodles a few days a week0

It's a good source of iodine. I take it in a powdered form.

I do take a kelp/seaweed supplement called Source Micro-max and have taken it for years. Never noticed any shift in metabolism but my hair and nails got a lot better and my spring allergies virtually disappeared.0
