I have read quite a lot of posts about eating clean and the way to a lean body is through cutting back on fatty and processed foods. I am of athletic muscular build and have a about a stone to lose. I have tried every diet going. When I stop dieting my weight is better!!(purely because I stop thinking about food all the time and what I can't have).
I love mfp because it allows me the flexibility to eat that biscuit, pack of sweets or bag of crisps, as long as I log it and stay under my 1480 calories per day. I eat back my calories as I am very active. If I don't allow myself to live like this and eat 2 bags of crisps if I want 2 bags (as long as I log it), then I am capable of huge binges!
My question to you is this:- am I going to be able to get a leaner lighter body by eating junk food, as long as I stay under my 1480 a day, or should I only be eating clean to shed the pounds and fat??

Thanks for your replies. Its a huge weight lifted(literally). I actually find I train harder faster and longer knowing that I can have a few treats in the evening once I chill out. Think this is the way to overcome by bingeing problems.

Yep, moderation and balance are key. Also you have to be able to enjoy yourself as well.
