Vegans can do just as much as anyone! All the vegans out there. What's your favorite meal combos?

I don't think I've ever heard anyone say vegans weren't capable of doing things...

X3 lol.. I guess she means what's your fav post workout meal.. But for me being a bodybuilding carnivor would be a big juicy dead cow (10oz sirloin), 10oz russet or sweet potato, with 10 asparagus spears

You know, I'm a vegetarian, I'm not a vegan, and there was a thread one time where omnivores were discussing something similar to this, and a vegan came on there and said something about not eating dead animals, and I told him off for being rude.

I'm going to do the same to you. Haven't you learned any manners, dude? Veganism ain't your circus, ain't your monkeys, why bother saying something? You have nothing to contribute to the discussion.

    Go away.

So you eat no veggies or carbs, save what is predigested in the stomachs of your prey? People who eat meat are NOT carnivores.

I also thought this was more about lifting? Though we are in the nutrition section, not fitness. So I will also assume we're talking about plant-based proteins:
I am an affirmed omnivore... but has anyone here tried Chipotle's sofritas?! ohmygawdsogood. I get the burrito bowl with it and skip the cheese and sour cream.

No, it's not nitpicking. A lot of vegans attempt to use the most "negative" words they can when talking about people with whom they disagree. Unfortunately, it's not unusual for ordinary people to pick up on those words and use them, possibly in an attempt to find common ground. It's the same thing that brought us "pet parent" and "guardian" in connection with animals and how all the wacko perceptions about animals came into common practice over time. The correct term is "omnivore" and we should use it or acknowledge the risk that comes with it being replace by an inaccurate term that has been co-opted by a group that wants "carnivores" gone.

I hear people using "carnivore" to express that they are very into meat-eating and have no reservations about it much, much, much more than I ever hear vegans using the term.

Please consider not derailing this thread with your bizarre anti-vegan obsession and your conspiracy theories about animal rights. There are a variety of people on this forum. I suggest you find a way to peacefully accept that includes vegans and there will be threads about veganism.

Oh stop. The correct terms are human caregiver or servant, depending on whether the you have a dog or a cat.

LOL I was definitely my cats' servant. No question there! However, I own my animals. I love them, cherish them, cry when they die, but they are my property under the law. Just like I'm an omnivore. Facts are facts. :)

Are you going to derail every vegan thread from now on? Because it's really tiring, annoying, and rude.

I'm not even a vegan, but vegans deserve a place to discuss their choices without you coming in with your frankly bizarrely biased take on their choices and mucking up every thread they start, in just the same way omnivores would deserve the same courtesy from vegetarians and vegans to not come trouncing into their threads raising ethical concerns.

Let's please be supportive of the topic the person posted and keep it rolling. If you are not here to offer a constructive comment for the original poster, please move on.

    And to that point...
I admit I am a flexitarian, I fell of the full Vegan band wagon about 8 months ago, but post workout I'm a VEGA shake fan. For a meal combo, I really loved lentil meatloaf with cauliflower mashed potatoes in the winter...and when I'm being lazy, baked tofu, asparagus and potato wedges.
