I love love love my tae bo routine. I love the movements and even the challenging parts that I just can't seem to catch up on. And for those, I do what I can and just make up movements that are close to what they're doing. I look like an idiot, but hey, at least I'm moving. lol I guess what I'm getting at is, is it okay to do tae bo everyday or should I add something else a few days a week? If so, what are some ideas?

You should change up your exercises. Your body will get use to your routine and won't be effective. Try riding a bike, running or maybe some other workout videos.

well Im disabled to a point but try and do my best to mix it up.I have a elliptical and working on getting a treadmill.I have a wii also with wii fit 1 &2 and Zumba,And Just dance-Its fun cause it doesnt feel like exercise and the music varies so its fun. Also, being I have no rhythm I crack myself up and sweat a lot! The wii I got from a place called gamestop its refurbished so it was prety cheap and the elliptical believe it or not I got at a yardsale for 5 bucks.Yardsales are a great place to find exercise equipment:) I also try and walk my dogs they are a little overweight and one is older and needs it and the younger one is hyper and needs it lol.Good luck and have fun!

If you love what your doing that's half the battle. IT probably would be of some benefit to mix things up as your muscles adapt and get more efficient at doing that same thing over and over. So you'll burn fewer calories as time goes on. Try adding weights to mix for awhile or other carido that focuses on different areas. You know you found something when your sore the next day. That's a sign that that area got worked.

Tae Bo is a great program but your body will adapt to it. You will maintain your current state; however, in order to change you will need to adjust your program. If you are not able to do other types of work-outs, try alternating your Tae Bo routines. Billy Blanks has many different programs. Not the best solution because many of them are similiar; but, it will be better than not changing at all.

If you have On Demand, Exercize TV has a zillion different workouts. I use them to change up my routine. There is tae bo, pilates, BL workouts, dance, and even 10 minute workouts.

I could not think of pilates to save my life! I have p90x, but uh, let's just say it's not for me. Would it still be wise to use some of the dvds as an alternative? I'm sure it would. What is BL workouts?

Biggest Loser. I have a couple of their dvds and they're awesome! I love the Power Sculpt, and the Cardio Max is great too. Of course Bob and Jillian have separate dvds out too if you don't like one or the other. The dvds are fairly inexpensive too, I got mine at Walmart for like 10 bucks. Try and mix it up. Like others have said, your body will adjust and slow everything down. :)

Try looking for regular kickboxing - with BASIC choreography. I know some kickboxing DVDs can be complicated (my feet are way too slow for these). I like Prevention Kick Start Your Metabolism with Chris Freytag. This one has aerobics and aero/tone sections. This is nice to mix things up.

Also Power Strike (there are several) - some of these are basic choreography also. Ilaria (the instructor) is great.
