Pam Spray: Yay or Nay ?

I've been trying to make a jumbo microwave egg for breakfast every morning, and in the bowl I use pam. Sometimes i'll use the olive oil, others the coconut oil. I don't remember the last time we bought the butter flavor, tbh.
ALSO: Would you log it ? I've always hated wondering if I have to nitpick with what to log and what not to. Do I log the salt that I put on the eggs ?

Honestly, I log my pam spray. I eat a few things every day that all have 5-10 calories and I wasn't losing, so I had to be very mindful, especially with only a 250 calorie deficit. I found an entry that gave me some calories for a 2 second spray.
You can log the salt if you have a reason to be watching your sodium closely.0 -
Sorry, I can't reply to multicolor posts that are unreadable.0

I never log the sprays. It just seems silly to me. 2 or 3 or 8 calories is not the difference between losing and not losing...focus on what matters.
I don't log salt either...I did for a while and quickly realized I had a pretty low sodium diet. SO with no medical reason to watch, I stopped logging it.0 -
I log everything... I am focusing on what matters to me...0

How much time does it take you to change the colors of your text? I would die before I got done with one sentence tbh.
I usually don't log them but if I know I'm gonna use a lot (more than a few seconds of spray) then I'll log as 0.5-1 tbsp of olive oil/whatever oil the spray you're using is made of.
ETA I dump salt on everything I eat and I haven't logged salt once. I don't think there's any need to log it unless you have a medical condition that requires you to moderate your sodium intake.0 -
I don't log sprays or spices, and I use quite a bit of both. I might experiment with logging them if, like the poster above, I found I wasn't losing and couldn't trace the cause. So far I am happy with my loss rate, and the taste of the food I consume. I cook my eggs the way you mention. I cook salmon that way too sometimes, with a bit of spray, spice, and lemon, and 90 seconds in the microwave. Just do what works and feels right for you. Cheers0

Or did you? How do you know if it was unreadable?0 -
I don't log the PAm...I think about it every time I spray it...I should be logging this...and then I don't.
I log butter and olive oil...that's it0 -
1. Don't use the multicolor option anymore.
2. To answer your OP, don't use Pam spray, it full of chemicals. Just put olive oil in a Misto sprayer. It works great.0
