I have so much ground turkey right now and I'm getting bored of turkey tacos. If anyone has any other recipes, I would greatly appreciate it!

We really enjoyed this recipe from Skinny Taste Turkey Patties

In fact, my 16 year old daughter pretty much polished them off on me :s

You definitely can. Chili is a great option. I know it's what I'm making tonight.

    Turkey meatballs!

In my Recipes I have a pretty basic one I like to use with whole wheat spaghetti and a light tomato sauce. I didn't include spices because I like to play with those.

I also like doing turkey burgers on sandwich thins with salsa and avocado.

Baked Egg rolls. I made them last night and they were so good. I used ground chicken breast, but you could also use ground turkey. I added chopped cabbage, carrots, water chestnuts then sauteed everything with a little bit of soy sauce and cornstarch mixed together, then rolled the mixture up in the egg roll. This was my first time making them and they were so good! Hubby loved them too!

I like to just saute it up with plenty of seasoning and use it throughout the week for whatever. I'll have it the night I cook it over a bed of quinoa with salsa, toss some on a salad the next day for lunch, float another portion in some soup the next night... it's actually pretty versatile stuff and makes it easy for me to punch up my protein numbers.

Try Jamie Eason's Turkey Muffins (google it) I love those things and I throw in a little cajun seasoning for extra spice.

Turkey loaf!! It's like thanksgiving wrapped into a loaf. Mix the ground turkey with dry stuffing mix, chopped celery & onions, a beaten egg, milk or water to moisten & poultry seasoning, salt n pepper to taste. Bake like a typical meatloaf. So yummy!

I make turkey meatloaf, turkey burgers, turkey tacos, and turkey chili very often.

I attempted turkey meatballs, but I got annoyed with how much wetter ground turkey is vs. beef, and didn't feel like using more breadcrumbs to get it to the right texture. My attempt at meatballs ended up as a meatloaf, lol.

Egg Roll in a Bowl- S, E, or FP

    5.0 from 9 reviews

    Author: Diana
    Recipe type: Dinner
    Cuisine: Asian
    Serves: 4

    Ingredients
2 teaspoons sesame oil (or oil of your choice if you don’t have sesame, but the sesame really makes the dish!)
1 lb. ground pork or beef (S) or lean ground turkey (E or FP)
6 cups finely sliced cabbage (about 1 medium head)
1 cup shredded carrots (4g carbs per ¼ cup serving so fine for this S meal)
    1 medium onion
    chopped 3 cloves garlic
finely chopped or minced 1 teaspoon ground ginger/ginger powder
(if you choose fresh ginger for this recipe, you’ll need to use quite a bit and be sure it’s grated/minced very fine; I love fresh, but ground really works better in this recipe)
¼ cup coconut aminos (soy sauce alternative) or Bragg’s Amino
Salt and black pepper to taste
    Chicken Broth
Optional: 2-3 green onion stalks, finely chopped
Optional: ¼ tsp red pepper flakes adds a nice kick!

    Instructions
Brown the ground pork (or beef) in large frying pan until fully cooked.
Turn heat to medium-high and add chopped onion (not the green onions yet) and sesame oil, increase heat to lightly brown the onions.
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, ginger and aminos and add to pan, and then immediately add the sliced cabbage and stir.
Cook for a few minutes, stirring often, so that it doesn’t burn and so all cabbage slightly wilts and reduces in size.
Then add shredded carrots and cook for another few minutes.
Turn off heat, add chopped green onions, salt and black pepper to taste, stir one last time and serve warm.
Same great taste you’ll get in an eggroll, minus the deep fried wrapper, so MUCH healthier!

I love these and they are so easy:

    Cheesy turkey burger

    1 lb ground turkey breast
1 cup reduced fat shredded cheddar
    1/8 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp soy sauce
    Nonstick spray

Mix together and form 4 patties. Cook in frying pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Cook on both sides, until the center of the thickest patty is cooked.

We're having taco soup tonight - it's in the crock pot now.

    Browned ground turkey
    Corn
    Kidney beans
    Tomato sauce
    Taco seasoning

Throw it the crock pot in the morning - dinner ready when you get home.

Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, whatever you like. Scoop up with chips. We use Baked Tostitos scoop chips. Mmmm, making my mouth water...

    Damm those eggrolls sound delicious!

I make a lot of turkey chili or I fry it up and use to top salad. You could also make a turkey salad sandwich. If you're trying to go low carb, you could wrap it in a big lettuce, chard or kale leaf. Personally, I've been on a sandwich kick as of late...

I always make lasagne with ground turkey instead of ground beef and I use whole wheat lasagne noodles. Like someone said... you can do anything you would do with ground beef...

Turkey Chili!! I found a great recipe online...

    http://allrecipes.com/recipe/simple-turkey-chili/

Made it a few weeks ago, and my fiance and kids loved it! They added shredded cheese and had crackers on the side. I just ate it as is and it was still really good, yum! And, what I loved was how I just had to copy/paste the ingredients into MFP and it calculated all the servings and how many cal per serving too.

i treat it like ground beef. just be careful, its drier than beef. for that reason, i perfer to mix it with ground beef or pork. mixing the 3 together creates a great taste for meatballs, meatloaf, even hamburgers.
