So, would that be a good shake to have right after working out? Does it have enough carbs?

It has 23g protein and 3g carbs.

  • Just put it in a blender with some frozen fruit and you will have a good after workout shake. That's what I do.

    Thats about what I do. It tastes terrible with water but I do it anyway. Your level of protein also depends on your body size. It's definitely a very good thing to consume protein within 30 minutes after working out, I do it all the time.

    I buy Gold Standard Double Rich Chocolate whey, put it in a milkshake every morning with a tablespoon of natural peanut butter, a whole banana, 2 tbsp of flaxseed, and one cup of milk. Comes about to be 450-500 cals, but I have a lot of cals for the day. (easily reduce that by reducing amount of milk or half a banana).

    Whey=Good!

    In case it is a concern, it has the highest level of cholesterol of almost any other whey protein. With that said, it tastes good, mixes well, and I'm having some right now! :tongue: Oh yeah, its cheap, too.
