I have been getting a burning pain in my arches while walking. Was in only the left now it's starting on the right as well.
Any thoughts?

Any other symptoms? Is it worse after you've been in bed all night or sitting for a prolonged period? I had plantar fasciitis in both feet for about 6 months and the pain was in my arches.

Your shoes.........are they supportive. I find after so many miles I need to replace old broken down shoes. Many runners get shoes fitted and have their gait assessed. Are your shoes designed for walking?

Your flexibility.........warm up a bit and then do some stretches. Not everyone will need the same stretches as you. My hips are tight....others have tight calves...whatever.
    Here are some ideas:

Your socks...........I found wearing stretched out socks, would bunch up in my shoe and give me pain on the top of my feet.

Same as Katie Jane, lots of calf stretches, supportive trainers and never wear completely flat shoes helps me

KatieJane - No additional issue at any time other than when walking.

TeaBea as for the shoes I have a pair of Brooks walking shoes they are about 6 months old by I just really starting using them regularly the last 2 months.

Thanks for the thoughts on the stretching. I will give it a try.
