How far (in time / distance), would you be willing to commute to / from work?

I live in a weird area. There's ZERO public transport, uber is quite spotty in the area, and taxis come over from the next state since my town and 2 other towns in the other state are basically invading each others space. (There is no "WELCOME TO X STATE", it's just a road sign pointing to the towns). Also, all the businesses have revolving doors with employees. "Oh, you're new. Doubt I'll see you this time next year though". It's classified as a summer town. Nothing ever happens in the winter ! My question for you is, How far (in time / distance), would you be willing to commute to / from work? Would you be willing to drive the 2 hours up to Six Flags every day ? Brave the barrage of traffic driving an hour to the mall ?

Same here. My eyes suck as it is so reading that isn't happening!0 -
I work about four miles from home thankfully. 2 hours to Six Flags? No. An hour to a mall job? No. How much could either of those places possibly pay to make that kind of commute worth it? I'd personally require well over six figures to make any commute that takes longer than an hour.
*Also confused on weird lettering.0 -
I hate driving. My commute to work is only 15 mins each way thankfully.0

it used to take me 1.5 hours each way by car / train / walk. now 20 minutes walk. get out of the subburbs, urbanites!0

MY commute is 25 miles - part by car, part by train.0

I live about 25 miles from work and spend two hours round trip minimum per day. Granted, I can halfway justify it with my income and appreciate the mental break coming to and from work. But I don't think I would be able to justify driving that long for a job that barely pays minimum wage.0

I moved about 6 months ago to cut my commute from about 60 minutes one way to 15 minutes one way0

I have three different offices. My commutes one way vary from 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on where I have to be on any given day. I am also reimbursed for my mileage and paid well for what I do. If I were making less and got no mileage differential, I would not commute far at all!0

I commute an hour each way...about 80 miles round trip daily.
Also, what the *kitten* is up with your text...rainbow text is really hard to read.0 -
I am 15 1/2 miles from my work. I go in at 3:30 am so there is no traffic. Little traffic at 2pm when I leave. I would not commute much further. Since I am only a couple years from retirement, I won't have to.0

i can't read that but I've commuted as much as an hour each way to working from home (which i do now) and everything in between. LOL0

I work 10 minutes from work, have so for 13 years, don't know if I'd be willing to do anymore than that since I've done it for so long.0
