My wife and I starting using MFP again on April 1st after we both realized that we were both out of shape and had put on excessive weight since we've been together. People always say when you're happy you gain weight... well let's just say we were gleaming then ha... I've always been a big guy, but after high school I really put on the weight. At my highest I was 365 and finally for my 2009 new years resolution I decided to lose some weight and get fit again. I started running slowly every night and dropped down to 325 after a few months. Then I decided to go back to school and finish up my bachelors. I started going to the gym everyday and developed a good lifting routine. During my last year in school I finally had my diet down and my workout routine where I was shedding fat and building muscle. I weighed 280 when I graduated from college and I was probably in the best shape of my life.
Now fast forward 4 years and the weight has slowly crept back... When my wife and I started MFP on April 1st I weighed 344 and this morning I weighed 320. A lot of that is water weight from quitting soda and other junk food, but it feels great to back at it. I haven't really established a goal weight yet... but we'll see how 250 looks and go from there. Here's some pictures of my journey so far...
June 2008 - 365
June 2011 - 280
June 2014 - 330ish?
Today - 320 - Drinking my tasty green smoothie for breakfast
Feel free to shoot me a friend request if you want.

It's definitely a bonus to have support from my wife this time. It's a lot easier when we're both in this together and we can plan our meals and workouts together as well.0
