Welcome Jam Junkies!

Just because it's Christmas week doesn't mean we can be slackers. The more we exercise the more we can eat!!!

I took Sat. & Sun. off from TJ b/c I was so dang busy! Hardly home at all. I'm planning 2-a-days every day but Christmas. Here's hoping! No matter how "good" I am this week about food, I'm still not going to be golden, kwim?

Good luck being out of town, abs!
  • I just ordered Turbo Jam. . . my daughter (age 16) thought it looked fun.. Can't wait to get it here ! Any Tips??
  • what is your weekly routine with TJ videos?
Do you follow the meal plan they give you with the videos?

My best advice is to learn the moves first. I did the 20 min. workout for a couple months before I moved onto anything else. Depending on your fitness level, it might take awhile to be able to go through an entire workout without falling over.

I've never followed the plan they gave me. I go by what my body's telling me & I can't often get in 2 workouts a day & sometimes that's what the plan calls for. My GOAL this week is to do 2 a day, but we shall see. I usually do 6 days a week. I don't schedule a day off b/c usually life gets in the way at least 1 out of 7 days & then I don't feel bad.

I've had great success & I just think it is a ton of fun! I never thought I would be saying that an exercise dvd was fun!

    Good luck, ladies!

    Yea new faces!!!

First let me say that I got my CP2 in today...nothing extra (spent to much time on MFP while DD was sleeping  )

I don't follow any plan. I do which ever workout I feel like doing. I've been doing TJ for about 4 months now. This is not my first round however. I order the dvds about 3 years ago, started working out as soon as I got them. Back then I followed the meal plan and the suggested workouts and I lost 20 lbs in 2 months. Now, I don't follow the meal plan because I'm breastfeeding and need more calories. I did the 20 minute workout for a couple weeks until I got the feel for it again and then I moved to Cardio party. I only did this one for about a month then I moved to Cardio Party 2. Now I just rotate between the two. If I have time I will throw in some sculpting after my cardio but its really hit or miss. I'm hoping for some new workouts for Christmas and then I will just work those into my routine.

I agree with 3bb....start with the learn and burn until you get the hang of it. Then depending on your fitness level move to 20 minute or Cardio Party.

I got in ALL of PK&J, but only 20 min. of TS. That's still 70 min. so I feel pretty darn good. Today is supposed to be a pushup day but it is going to have to wait. I can barely type right now. Phew!

It is nearly 49 min. from start to finish.

I just saw that "BodyByCrayton" post. Any idea what's up with that? Are we getting solicited on this site? Should I be reporting things? I don't like that very much....

WTH? Am I hallucianting? When I'm on the regular thread, it isn't there, but when I'm typing a reply & scroll down the screen, there it sits...annoying.

Sara I noticed that as well yesterday. I don't know what is up with it. I ignored it since it didn't come up in the thread when I posted. Weird!

Did CP today...kinda lazily but I did it and I worked up a sweat so I know I burned some calories.
