Is anyone else on Eat to Perform? I am just starting and I am really excited to be eating more so my workouts don't suffer. I would love thoughts and feedback!

Care to link us up? I did look, but there are various entries.
Why wouldnt you eat to fuel your workouts? Isnt that just responsible nutrition? I dont really fucntion on fasted cardio so correctly fueled exercise is essential for me. How long your workouts are also matters as well as when you last ate.

I'm just starting it. I'm nervous ~ its alot to keep track of ~ but I'm also excited as it seems like alot of people have really good results and no more 1200 calorie a day, no bread, no cookies....
    We'll see!

I have been doing ETP for approx 4 months now and it has totally restructured my "diet." Carbs aren't all bad, in fact I have finally found a plan that works for me, gives my body what it craves, and also provides the fuel I need to get through my crossfit workouts. I get to eat ALL THE FOOD and look better doing it. In the first 2 months I lost 5% body fat and gained 5 lbs muscle. All while actually gaining 3 lbs overall. And I have never looked better. My advice is to take pictures. Lots of them. Because that is where you will see the changes, not necessarily on the scale. I have started seeing definition in my abs, and quads! Haha, all while eating all the carbs, lucky charms, and rice crispy treats for fast carbs before bed. I know it sounds crazy, but trust the program and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Oh, and just to make it all make sense, I weigh between 145 and 150 and my macros look like this:
    2150 Cals
245 Carbs on training day, 125 on rest day
    70 Fat
    145 Protein

    ****MEAL PREP!!!****

While not officially on their program, I am in total agreement with their philosophy. I believe they are one of the best websites out there for "dieting" information

I check out their website all the time but havent signed up yet...let us know what you think! I really like the philosophy but not sure about spending the $$ on something I can probably do on my own.

Yeah, I like them too. For me the carb timing thing is really more complicated than I think is helpful for me right now (I tried it for a bit), and I decided I want to focus on losing more before really working on recomping, but I love the focus on fueling workouts and sensible deficits and the benefits of carbs (including quick carbs) for those working out heavily.

I am just now tinkering with carb cycling. I have very few truly off days, so there aren't many days I need to worry about it.
