hello, so I have been using my fitness pal on my iPhone 6 for a bit now and saw a app call map my run. Though I was winding if anyone knew if I tracked a walk through map my run will it double up my steps or calories burned cause it will count the steps and a workout?

I've only really found mapmyrun useful in determining general distance of a route that I want to take. My gps watch provides me with the precise distance, steps, calories, etc. And it's not uncommon for the route on mapmyrun to be a good quarter mile off compared to my gps watch. I don't know if mapmyrun has a pedometer included in the app? I believe your iPhone can calculate actual steps. So why not track your steps using your phone rather than guessing?0

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too but I wanted to make sure and have the most accurate count I could.0
