Oh, it's basically an ab-wheel. Just enclosed.
Ab-wheels are legit. As with anything, just make sure your form is correct, and you're not relying too much on your other muscles to pull yourself up.0 -
One thing I would be careful is to not over-reach (and hurt your back potentially which is what I did the first time i did an ab wheel). I would do it facing a wall or something else at a good enough distance so that the wheel hits the wall about where you want to stop the downward motion, if its too easy just slide back a bit but this way the wall acts as a hard stop (also its a nice way to make sure you are being consistent in your motion)0
