slow carb then keto and now vegan (kinda). Hello.

I've had great success on Tim Ferriss' slow carb diet (lost over 60lbs.) then gained it all back. Did it again with a tweak to Ketogenic and had good results - but my cholesterol wasn't looking good. Now for health reasons I'm eating vegan six days a week. Feel good but not the same brainpower when on slow carb/keto. Happy to answer any questions about my experience with over two years of these diets.

    Are you supplementing with Omega 3's and B12? You might be low if you only eat animal products once a week. I am vegan and since I started supplementing with B vitamins and algal derived DHA, I have noticed increased mental energy and clarity.

    I just started to try and go keto Monday what is one food you found hard to avoid with carbs? I'm basically eating turkey bacon and cheese and drinking water.
