Ok so... This is where I work out! I go running here every day. It's so beautiful with all the birds singing in the trees in the morning.

Upload a photo of your work out base and tell me why you enjoy working out there!!

Let's brighten up the midweek mood!

For something completely different... Here's what my jogging track looks like in mid-May. I like jogging here because I can be pretty sure I won't encounter any polar bears. ug38udz3r887.jpg

No exciting picture here.... Just a gym (that has a great supportive atmosphere) , or on the spin bike at home if I have to do cardio.

I have a gorgeous red crested woodpecker that I encounter on my runs but he never sits still long enough for a picture.

I hope you DO find some gorgeous place that gives you immediate payback for just being there, but until you do, KUDOS to you for working out anyway!

@Lizzy622 We have rail trails around us too but they are usually too crowded for me.

A lot of you guys are so lucky! I wish I had a lovely scenic place to walk (and eventually jog) through! The closest area I have in comparison is 4.1 miles away--which is definitely not worth the effort! Maybe if I had a bike, but alas, I do not.

This is where I walk. Not very beautiful, I know, but it's a decent 0.9 mi walk away from my house which is certainly convenient. The surrounding area is decent as far as appearances go, though I prefer using the track (rubber, .25 mi) as it's better to monitor distance and speed there.

And in the summer I have this to look forward to (different section of the same park), so there's that:

I live 1 mile from the beach, so it makes a great 2 mile route!

I live 5 minutes from this lovely beach and am going to start running on here and we also have an amazing coastline where our 5km park run travels along. So fortunate to live near an amazing beach here in South Shields (just outside Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England)
