If so do you have any suggestions on what to get there.

Your best bet is to find the chipotle menu online and plan out what sounds best to you0

If you eat at a deficit still yes, if you eat too much then no.

Only if you buy this:
Sorry couldn't resist!
As far as suggestions- look at their menu and choose something that fits into your calorie goal.0 -

Everything in moderation. I eat half or less at a time.0

As long as you eat less calories then you burn you can eat everything you like.0

I've only gone once since counting calories and spread the salad over 2 meals... Portions are huge & calories to match! Salad was over 700 calories (whaaa? Ok - I did have cheese, sour cream, and guacamole...). Their site has a cool calorie calculator, based on what you get for toppings, etc. - helps with pre-planning.0 -
Avoid the chips and tortillas, they have the most calories.0
-
I get the build your own kid tacos. Much lower calorie and tastes just the same.0

No. If you eat Chipotle even one time, you will never ever lose weight for as long as you live, ever.0

My only issue with Chipotle or any other restaurant is that, unless you bring your scale, and have them weight each component by the gram, you don't really know how many calories you are eating. A serving of rice may be calculated at a half cup but they might spoon a full cup into your bowl. I eat Chipotle when I know I can afford extra calories so I don't worry too much that I've compromised my progress.0

I eat there often and have lost almost 3 lbs a week on average. I get light brown rice, chicken, mild salsa, corn and extra lettuce.0

If you go with a salad it's fine. I think it's best to forego the tortilla. I'd say do chicken or steak, barbacoa has more sodium in it. Pinto beans give you a lot of fiber. You can even split up your salad for the day too.0

Why forego anything if it fits in to the OPs calorie and macronutritional goals? Why is salad fine? Are salad calories different in some way?
Why arbitary rules about what can and can't be eaten?
OP. Make sensible choices, choose whatever you like that fits in to your daily calorie and macronutritional goals.0 -
I never ate at Chipotle0

I've never eaten there (none close to me) but I do eat out all the time and still lose weight.

I get a salad with lettuce, chicken and extra mild salasa (which serves as the dressing) - i do not use their salad dressing and this is only 240 calories - but filling:)0

I eat there once a week. I get a veggie burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, hot salsa, corn salsa, lettuce, and shredded cheese. Sometimes I get their spicy tofu on top as well. It's quite filling, so I usually only eat half for lunch one day, then eat the other half the next day. I also avoid the chips because they are too high in calories for my goal.0

One thing to note is that even if you stay within your calorie goals, food at Chipotle contains an enormous amount of sodium--you may experience some water retention due to that.0

I always get the tacos - crunchy with barbacoa, lettuce, and cheese only. The hungry girl link provided is really good. One thing it didn't mention is that with the tacos, you don't have to get the 3 count order. 3 is almost too much for me a lot of the times, and I'll order only 2. It's cheaper (they're maybe $2.50 each?) and I'm not forced to eat all 3 (because who would want to waste that deliciousness?).0

Every once in a while I get their sofritas bowl with veggies, brown rice, and no dairy (I'm vegan). I found a nutrition page online and they listed the ingredients individually so remember what you put in there or plan it in advance to fit around your calorie goals.0

I eat there at least once, or twice a week, and have still lost nearly 60 lbs.
Trade out rice for romaine lettuce, and you'll be able to fit other stuff in.
Romain lettuce
black beans
barbacoa
fajita veggies
Green salsa
Under 400 cals!
The only mark is that there is a TON of sodium in their food, but sodium isn't something I care to watch because I don't have high blood pressure, and I drink a tankfull of water every day.

I eat there all the time! My bowl is 630 cals and I am usually stuffed by the time I'm done. I get a chicken bowl with brown rice, black beans, hot salsa, cheese, lettuce, and cilantro. You can create your own combination of things and see how many cals it will be with their online nutrition calculator. Chipotle always fits in my calories0

If I'm eating Chipotle I make it a point to use their nutrition info on their website and log the entire bowl. I have zero willpower and will snarf down a huge bowl with no problem. Honestly, it doesn't bother me since I make sure to make room for it in my diet and I've never had an issue weighing in the week after I've put myself into a Barbacoa coma.
So... congratulations to those of you who only eat half of a burrito, a bowl, or a salad. I'll just be over here being a Fatty McPiggybutt with my giant mound of heaven.0 -

Yes, I eat there about once a week and I eat my WHOLE bowl.0
-
I eat there about twice a week. Chicken, fajita veg, pico, sour cream and extra lettuce. Comes in around 350ish calories and is totally filling. FYI: Adding beans or rice would up your calories about 200 each, I just don't really eat either of those.0

I'm with you...
And I don't skimp either...all the beanz, all the rice, all the meat, all the cheese, corn salsa, pico de gallo, veggies and lettuce...I do skip the sour cream though. If I have the calories, I'll add guac, otherwise it's the only casualty.0 -
I was obsessed with Chipotle, which wasn't very friendly on my wallet, so I started making my own "copycat" burrito bowls at home. Not 100% exactly the same, but close enough to satisfy my cravings. They're a lot cheaper and, as one person mentioned, you can know exactly how many grams of each ingredient you get so you can be ~sure~ of how many calories you're getting. Google "Copycat Chipotle X" for recipes, like "copycat chipotle rice" or "copycat chipotle black beans" etc.
I know this totally isn't what you asked and I went on a tangent...yes you can, but here is another idea too!0
