Getting Back on Track

Rewind three years ago:

I was 20 years old, I was 210 pounds, i hated my body, and made an attempted at losing all the weight I could. I got down to 170 pounds in 10 months.

I maintained in the 170's for about a year, and have slowly gained back the weight. I am back up to 195 and need to get down to 165.

I deleted my fitness pal account and made a new one under the hopes that maybe I could find some new friends and we could work to encourage each other, and under the hopes that I could restart my entire journey, as this is tragic that I have put on all this weight back on.

I spend a ton of time at the gym, but i easily know it is what I am eating, how I am eating, and how much I am eating. I am struggling with willpower and that is my biggest problem.

In desperate need,
Alyssa

Welcome back!!! And there's no better place to spend your time than in the gym. Are you doing cardio strength training or both ?

I am doing both, I am laying off strength though, I am trying to figure out if that is where my weight gain is from.

Welcome back! :) I would do both...cardio and strength. Cardio will help burn the calories which is always a good thing. Strength training will help build muscle! I work out 3 times a week at the gym, and run 3 days a week. Fridays are my only "off" days lol
