Can lifting really help make your boobs perkier???

I want my boobs to be perkier. How much of a change can I expect from lifting? And what exercises should I be doing to get perkier boobs? Does anyone have any experience with this?

I would have to say yes. You'd need to focus on the decline dumbbell press (barbell too), dumbbell flys (cables too). Incline and flat bench presses but I think the first 2 I mentioned would make the biggest difference.
Focus on the muscle. Mind muscle connection. Go heavy, 4 sets of 8-10 for each exercise. U can do 3 exercises on one day and in the same week, do 3 different variation.

Not much, if any. Lifting strengthens the muscles underneath your boobs but the boobs themselves are mainly fat and glandular tissue, which isn't affected by any type of exercise—other than walking to a surgeon's practice, that is...0 -
No it doesn't. It's a myth, sorry that's probably not what you want to hear but it's sis-science. I had a long talk about this with the nurse who specialises in breast lifts.
The pec muscles (which are underneath the breast) won't lift or change your breast shape, the visable breast shape (perkiness) is more about the composition of tissue and fat in that area and if you have lost weight or had kids the elasticity of the skin.
A good bra on the other hand can do wonders to how they appear in clothes!

Did you guys not think that he's potentially telling her to take progress pictures as comparisons, not asking her to send them to him? SMH.-1 -
My boobs are bigger (I'm not sure about perkier) from lifting. I bench one day a week and use the chest press one day as an assistance. It's actually the muscle that is bigger, but in clothes it doesn't make a difference in appearance.0

Sure he is.

what's wrong with us guys asking for pics? You ladies can always say no. I mean it should be a confidence booster when we ask and it's nice to build confidence right?!0

It's fairly rude and creepy to ask a stranger for photos...0 -

Why shouldn't she take progress pics? How many of you look at past and present pictures to see how you've progressed?
F*ckwits
Apparently because you are male you can't give valuable advice without people assuming you were insinuating she sends you the progress pictures for some reason. @csman490 -

Woman and their Mammary Cracks ...lol Hilarious... In my town they ticket kids for having their pants down and showing off their butts always covered by underwear yet a woman can show crack all day long and be called sexy or slut? I'll never understand the world I live in..
Whats with the word creepy is it because you don't like something someone else does so they are now creepy I would look in the mirror before you label another person.0 -
Hooray for boobies!0

Posture will play a bigger role in how perky your boobs are than the muscles under the skin.0
-
OP, I'd say: maybe. You could improve posture, lose some fat, tighten up the foundation muscles resulting in better appearance. But whether that actually makes them more perky or not is subjective.0

I do the chest flies with dumbbells (and other chest exercises), and my boobs are perkier. there's not much of them left, at this point, but what's there is not as droopy as they once were.0 -

Back to the original question...
The post about the underlying muscle foundation probably not doing much for the breasts themselves sounds plausible. However, there are 3 ways that I can think strength work will probably help the appearance- all in terms of improvements to surrounding physical context.
- A firmer, stronger chest will probably give the impression of firmer breasts (especially when wearing v-neck or scoop neck shirts that show some of the upper chest above the breasts
- Work focusing on the back muscles should improve posture, making things look "perkier"
- Work on the lats or abs should yield a more slender, v-shaped torso and make breasts look bigger by comparison0 -

All this is true if the OP is a small cup, in which case, most probably whether her breasts are perky or not would nto be her first concern. If she is a large cup (and not overall overweight) then unfrotunately not much can be done to correct things. Exercising and no serious weight fluctuations (including pregnancy) can help prevent the problem to some extend, but if the skin is already getting loose, exercise will not work miracles.0
