Hi,

I'm doing a Go Ape course on Saturday, it lasts around 2-3 hours and involves climbing high ropes, awesome crossings, tunnels, bridges and an epic wind-in-your-face zip wire to finish, I'm not sure what to add this in as under exercise? Any ideas?

Many thanks!

Helen

Wear an HRM, then add "Go Ape" to the database! Good luck!

You really won't be burning that many calories.
It's really fun but its climbing a few ladders and walking through the trees.
It's more balance and agility than sweaty exercise.

Don't bother, an HRM figure will be meaningless.

As above, it's not fast paced, so you won't be much above BMR. Just treat it as some bonus deficit.

Thank you! Had such a good time, took us three hours to complete and my word there we some moments where my heart was pounding! :-)
