Hey, I'm Anneka, and for the last year or so I've been keeping fit and active. I'm trying to do more though, since I've hit a few bumps in the road, and gained a little weight back :s

Just wondering if there's any fellow goths or alternative types out there to keep me company on my journey :)

    I think this is one of the funnier things I have read today. I love stereotyping questions. I know, sarcasm isn't nice. Boo hoo. Not all goths are doom and gloom , but as for me, I reward myself with a ridiculous amount of Halloween themed stuff and pumpkin icecream, which really doesn't actually help with weight loss unless you're me.

    I'm a mixed bag with Goth included. Love the Sisters, the Mission, the Chameleons, Specimen, Voltaire, all things Tim Burton, grew up watching The Addams Family, and I forget what other Gothiness. I even met my husband on Goth.net (no it isn't a dating site! we just got to know each other there, and he wound up moving here from the UK to join me.)

    As far as doom, gloom, whatever: my husband says that Goth is about cheesy rubber bats. ;-)
