I don't have a real motto, but I do have a couple tattoos:

You are who You choose to be.

    Nothing is Permanent.

And one of my favorite quotes (often attributed to Winston Churchill):

"When you are going through hell, keep going."

    "What's a motto?"

Nothing, what's the motto with you?"

Thanks for setting me up dude.
Also, I've always been a fan of "just keep swimming" and "a journey of a thousand miles begins with single step" and last but certainly not least "i run so i can (insert motivation here, like outrun the inevitable zombie apocalypse, keep up with the doctor, not die in the even that the Avengers bring forth death from the sky...)"

I have so many but a few
"good s**t happens outside your comfort zone"
    "there ain't no free lunch"
"it is hard but it is worth it, I am worth it"
"would Tom Brady eat that?" (insert athlete of your choice)

Tom Brady would only eat it if it were properly deflated first.

I've come to love bike riding (Bicycle). Really enjoy it. So, without using the cruder word: Just friggin' ride. Or... Enjoy the friggin' ride. :D

    Cheers,

    Mark

I use the standard "Shut up, LEGS!!!" when cycling :)

    Yep.

Remember how you felt the day your clothes didn't fit... the times you were left behind...THE TIMES YOU WERE IN PAIN OR OUT OF BREATH FROM A COUPLE OF BLOCKS OR A FLIGHT OF STAIRS! Yeah, I thought you would. Now keep going and leave those days far behind.

Every day is a new day. You can do this!

I am so much better off today. Look at me touch my toes!

(I never say these out loud)

Mine is a twist from something from game if thrones my bf and I watch "Not today." It's talking about not getting killed but for me whenever I am faced with food temptations I just remember how completing a good day feels and how crappy I feel when I go over or eat a fatty meal so I just say not today junk food !

    Here's mine:
    1. It's about the journey not the destination
    2. Don't take anything too seriously

When I'm running: "just one more minute" (repeat nearly every minute after 12 minutes...)

With food choices: "this or that" and "only eat the foods you love"

    Opportunity does not equal obligation.

I am a healthy person who makes healthy choices.

These are great. There are so many temptations - donuts at work, junk food at friend/family get togethers. A good reminder.

You only fail 100% of the time if you never try

I really like this one. One of my biggest "reasons" to not try is because I'm afraid of failing.
