Successes/struggles this week: Was not able to count calories or do any exercise this week because my grandmother was extremely sick starting last Friday so I was with her and my family all week. She passed away Tuesday morning and her funeral was this Friday and the whole time I was staying at my aunt's house so I was just eating what was available without even trying to count calories. I must have still been able to cut back well though because I still dropped in weight this week. Most of the family that drove in from other states are leaving today so I know I will be able to get back on track this week and continue towards my goal.0 -

Successes/struggles this week: Not a great week to be on a diet. I had three celebration dinners for my birthday this week! Family, friend and hubby...I love them all dearly and would not change a thing. Didn't get to exercise much on these days either (besides a quick, non-strenuous walk with my pup). Will try to step it up for the rest of the month to see if I accomplish my goal. Impressed with other peoples' results and a bit jealous too!
Happy Birthday!. I know the feeling....I had too much to eat for my birthday at the end of April but it's one day a year so ENJOY!0 -

Successes/struggles this week: I'm really disappointed. I had a lot of bad days (I went to London to visit the Harry Potter studios and ate a lot, then had Chinese when I got home, went for a meal with flatmates and was convinced to have dessert, granddad's birthday yesterday with cake, etc.) but I thought I'd made up for it. Next week's going to be even worse! It's Eurovision week! Monday I can't go running as I'm moving my stuff out of uni halls, tuesday I'm going shopping with my sister (so I'll be eating out then) AND getting takeaway for the first semi final of Eurovision, thursday is the second semi final and we're getting chinese, and saturday is the grand final so I'll be getting drunk AND eating a lot! Successes/struggles: Didn't lose any weight the first week, but happy to see I caught up the second week! Sugar cravings, stressful and time-consuming work week caused some bad food decisions and decreased my motivation and time to work out. My biggest struggle is with motivation and energy lately. Work and life responsibilities seem to be sucking the drive out of me, but the weight loss and healthy changes I'm making are keeping me focused on my goal. This challenge and having mini weekly goals is really helping!0 -

Successes/struggles this week: It's always frustrating to not see the scale move when you've worked so hard the week before. I did Les Mills Combat 6 days last week, but I need to buckle down my diet a little more I guess. Since we're headed to Florida for vacation in 2 weeks, I'm going to keep my eating as clean as possible. No more beer (that really screws with my weight) and no cheat meals until we leave. Hopefully that will help bump my loss before we go!0 -
