Hello I just had a question if anyone knew about how many calories someone burns while working as a cashier.. I work 9 hour shifts at Walmart and I have lost 7lbs since starting so I was wondering if me working has been contributing to the weight loss.. Thanks :)

Work is already built in to your daily calorie goal. For example, I clean for a living. I'm on feet for 11 hrs a day, moving fast , carrying vacuums up and down steps, moving furniture. I don't count any of that as extra. It's built into my active setting.

Im not counting it either, I put the sedentary option. I was just curious. I was a stay at home mom and just starting working again and without any diet change I have lost weight. Thanks

Rather than count it as calories burned, bump your activity setting to lightly active, at least. Then you'll make up for the difference over the course of the week instead of a bunch in one day and no extra on others.

Could be a bump in your activity due to being on your feet all day. It also could be that you're eating less without realizing it, because you're out of the house and away from the fridge
