Buy a food scale. That should fix your problem.0

3500 cal deficit is about 1 pound a week.
Yeah buy a scale and lock down your logging. Including exercise.0 -
Thank you . I do have a good scale and I do use it , I'm just not sure why I'm not loosing that's all ,0

Yeah that's an idea I have done that and found its up and down from day to day , I just want to loose constantly like everyone on here .0

Our weight fluctuates daily for a number of reasons, if you are logging your food consistently and are in deficit overall weekly by around 3000 cals then you should be losing 1lb - take extra care with logging, be particular about what food entries you choose, stay away from generic entries etc, the overall trend should be downward if you truly are in deficit, you'll know after a few weeks if all is well.0

Nobody loses constantly Weight loss isn't linear, it fluctuates due to a lot of reasons (bowel movement, hormones, water and salt intake etc.), which is why it's always better to look at long-term trends. Personally, I prefer to weigh myself every day in the morning and I add the weight into an app called Libra, which calculates your trend weight.
That being said, how long have you been stuck? What's your height, current weight, goal weight, daily activity level, exercise, goal to lose (0.5 lb, 1 lb, 2 lbs) and calorie goal? Could you open your diary?0 -
Hang on - you've set your MFP goals
and you're getting 3000 under that goal or you're hitting your calorie target?
You're weighing all your food and picking your food carefully from the database, avoiding all homemade entries and starred entries without member confirmations, building your own recipes, scanning barcodes and checking against pack and other web sources right?
Are you logging exercise too? and how?0 -
Yeah my dairy is open to friends only I'm afraid , my height is 5.4 weight 12.9 I'm on 1630 calories a day .0

@marvelett ref any app that calculates calorie burns, they are estimates and are inclined to vere on the high side, thats why most of us would tell you to just eat back 50% of those estimated burns to keep you right. Alot of us use the TDEE method using online calculators/Fitbit or other trackers, then you'll know exactly how much you can eat and still lose ie TDEE less 10-20% - e.g for me I'm very active, my TDEE is 2400, to lose 1lb a week I'd eat 1900 cals/ 1/2 lb 2100 cals - it works. Hope this helps.0
