I can't stand the taste of nuts or peanut butter.. what foods would be a good compromise when trying to gain weight??

Peanut butter hates you back!
With that said, pasta, bagels, cream cheese (or cheese in general), beef, beans, to name some that are high in calorie and I eat all the time.0 -

OP, try other fat sources - oils (coconut, olive, macadamia, avocado), butter, avocado, whole eggs, fatty meat and oily fish, full fat dairy
