Can you change a setting so that your workout calories are not included in your daily calories to consume?

No but you can overwrite your MFP target with a manual version if you're following a cut from TDEE approach
and then you can log your exercise as 1 calorie to keep a record - or not log it at all
But if you are following MFP method you should be eating back a proportion of your exercise calories0
