Doing a biggest loser challenge at work, final weigh in Thurdsay! I am in the lead but my opponent is .2 percent away from
Catching up and dropping weight like crazy.
Any tips?

Would cutting carbs and sodium help?

I hate biggest loser challenges they are so unhealthy and pointless

That said - follow a bodybuilder's pre-comp dehydration plan to strip water

Well it helped me meet my goal weight, and a little fun competition. Thanks for the negative comment "rabbit"

biggest loser is based on losing weight as quickly as possible - losing weight quickly results in losing more LBM than necessary which results in a worse body at a lower weight and harder maintenance. Even the morbidly obese should not lose more than 3.3lbs per weeks because of health contraindications (if you'd care to research that stat look for gallstone information)

This site is about sharing current scientific thinking and discussing appropriate weight loss strategies (should weight loss be your goal) in order to achieve long term maintenance
