Goal setting bug?

Hi all,

I've been using MFP for almost 2 weeks now and I set up my goal to lose 1kg a week. So MFP told me that I should eat 1350 calories for that to happen. This morning I noticed it changed to 1920 calories. I checked my settings and 1kg a week is still there. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Ditto that - something weird is going on - this happened before too - it is saying I have more calories than I should left even though I have not exercised today.
I have seen this issue on and off for a couple weeks now.
One time I went in and the goals had changed to having me gain .5 pounds a week and I never made the setting!
You can probably turn off having the exercise calories factored in if that is causing the bug but I don't really know what is the problem as this never used to happen.

Yeah, probably a bug. I changed it to 0.5kg/week, updated and then changed it back to 1kg/week and it works fine now.

You're a male. Why is it tell you to eat below 1500??

I noticed that my marco goals are of. Under the goals tab it shows to eat 107g of protein but under the nutrition tab it shows 60g.....

From my understanding, 1kg = 7700 calories, so if my goal is set to 1kg/week, I need a calorie deficit of 1100calories/day. My normal day activity level is 2450 calories, so subtracting 1100 results 1350 calories/day.

I understand the math. But there is a point when it is unsafe to pursue that level of weight loss. Men should not eat below 1500 calories.

    I'm a 5'7 woman and I maintain 136-8 lbs on 2000-2200 calories.

    Eat more!

There apparently was a bug that previously allowed people to set inappropriate goals (under the recommended guidelines). I guess it's been fixed. 1920 is a good idea, better than 1500, that's for sure

Don't worry, I eat more than 1500 because I ride my bike every day and eat back all the calories.
