I eat bacon nearly every morning. Just because you are eating fat doesn't mean that it's going to be stored as fat. That will only happen if you eat more calories than you burn.

But if you eat meat from a pig doesn't that turn you into a pig?

I'll hang up now so I can hear your answer.

I don't know. Is it possible to turn a fish into a pig?

I have bacon about once a day. I buy it precooked in this little bag and just take out the bits I need to spice up a rice bowl or something.

A very deep question. Have never seen a fish turned into a pig, but there are so many fishes in the deep dark recesses of the oceans that we don't know about. Some could already be pigs and be made into bacon. Makes me want to start scuba diving.

I've seen pictures of American bacon and it looks nothing like ours. It seems yours has a lot more fat on it than here.

USA bacon and Australian bacon are completely different. Theirs is fattier, doesn't have the eye, and can't be safely eaten raw. It also crisps up very quickly.

Australian bacon is what the Americans call Canadian bacon.

They both have their own elements of awesome.

Had me some American bacon for breakfast. I love it when it's nice and crispy. The flavor of the crispy fat parts... mmmm... I can't... words... bacon... <3

Just confirmed it before expanding, but American bacon is made from pork belly and Australian is middle/back bacon, being the side and loin which is far more lean.
