fish tacos, just cut up fish in 1/2 inch cubes, season with salt, chili powder, granulated garlic, granulated onion, spray frying pan, cook quick on med high. Serve with chopped cabbage, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, not fat yogurt,
and salsa, add corn tortillas if you want or just keep it as a salad for really low calories

Spray a glass casserole dish with olive oil. Put fillets in the oven 425F for 11 minutes. That's all I've got . . . and I'm getting lots of protein that way.

broiled with lemon juice, butter, pepper, a bit of salt, and minced garlic

just don't put it too close to the broiler or it'll catch on fire

    and don't ask how I know that...lol...

I usually fry it up on stovetop in olive oil and a little dap of butter, maybe half teaspoon. Another way when cold outside is fish stew in a crockpot, lots of recipes online. Another nice thing with stew is you can clean out the fridge, like veggies that need to be used up. I bought some swai one time, worst fish I ever had. Made fish stew and it was delicious. And the old stand by fish and chips, I have never tried deep frying tilapia, so don't know well it will work. I know it's fattening but I need a fat day once in awhile

Tomato Caper is such a quick and easy sauce that tastes so fancy.

I do love fish tacos or just putting a pan seared piece on top of a bowl of stir fried vegetables.

Fish tacos for sure... I use the george forman and put lemon pepper seasoning. I cook enough to allow the edges to get crispy and then just put them in a warmed up corn tortilla with mozzarella. Yum, now I'm hungry for talapia at 8:24 in the morning!

I suggest reading up on the source of farmed tilapia--it's not pretty and might cure you of your addiction.

I made this a couple of nights ago.

Set the oven to 375 degree.

    4 tilapia fillets

    3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

    1 tablespoon butter, melted

    1 clove garlic, finely chopped

    1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes

    pepper to taste

Place filets in a baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. Also, pad them try with a paper towel before placing them in the pan.

Pour the lemon juice over the fish, followed by the butter and all the other ingredients.

Bake until white and flaky. It took me 20 minutes.

Very tasty I think. I think 1 file ( 4 oz ) has about 100 calories. I ate 2 of them with some steamed broccoli.

I just made a baked cod casserole from Allrecipes and you can use tilapia instead it's delicious. I agree with the comment about farmed tilapia that's why I went to cod, more expensive but such a good fish.
