Does anyone know how to link a jaybird headset to a IPHONE

I get to the blue tooth area and the phone wont pull up or recognize my new wireless headset :(

    Has it been paired before? If not, you need to get your headset in pairing mode, then make the connection? The password/code when pairing is always 0000

    pairing by turning the headset on and letting the phone try to find it? If so I already tried it :(
