    If it's deep, meaningful interaction you're looking for, why don't you try real life? Or, I don't know, starting some yourself? Jumping on here and criticizing how it's done probably isn't going to get you what you what you want.

    Yes, it annoys me, that MFP is high schoolish.

    However, so is facebook, and those are people you know irl.

    If the people irl have unsubstantial realtionships, what do you think of this place?

    If you'd like to have real substance, hang out irl with people who care about stuff.

    If you'd like to engage in higher level conversation than "I'd bang," or "how you doin?" You are going to have to start the thread.
