I want to start using some weights with my exercises, but havent a clue what the best weight to start off with is? I've never lifted any at all, so dont wanna get mega heavy but want them to work on toning my arms!

xx

Don't know how much your looking to spend but they have some that are adjustable so you you can have one set to grow with you. Are u looking to do it with your cardio or actual weights? Either way start of light because they seem to light at first but youll feel it after a couple reps.

Then to start I would say the 1-2kg. You dont want them to be too heavy that you get too tired and cant finish your cardio and like i said youll deff feel it after a few min. An Idea, if your getting them at the store try a pair out by carrying them around while you browse the store. They also have weighted bracelets and anklets you can get. Youre a mom right( guessing from your screen name) if so maybe youre used to picking up your kid so you might be hiding a lil more muscle than you think.

I just looked on line and it seem that most of the wrist weights are 1--2.5 lbs. So i wouls say 1kg. Just my 2 cents.
