Top o' the morning to ya, Onederland!

Well, I reached my second goal this morning, ONEDERLAND!!! I'm not sure if I spelled it right, but who cares? It has been about ten years since I was here, and I must say, it's changed a bit since I last saw it. For instance, ten years ago it was still relatively young (to an older person's way of seeing things). It was on the cusp of 50, and bat wings was a term unknown at that time. Now it is five months from, oh noes, 60(!), and a little birdy (my skin) peered up at me and said with a quizzical look, "bounce back? Whatever are you on about?"
Anyhoo, I almost didn't post this because I thought a 32 pound weight loss is so small compared to all the other wonderful weight loss stories told here. And then, yay for me, I forced myself to stop that immediately and try to celebrate something that has been hard to do. I only joined MFP in mid-April, but had been "dieting" since late spring last year and had lost 21 pounds already.
My first goal was losing 25 pounds before my yearly GP appointment May 8th, and I did that plus 2.5 pounds more.
Two goals down, time to set some more. I still have a long way to go, and I know I will get discouraged, but for today, I am going to feel really good about finally taking control of this situation and attaining a goal that a few months back seemed unattainable.
P.S. I have done this with NO exercise - I am physically unable to so at this time and am completely sedentary.

Thank you all so much for responding to my post. This is an amazingly supportive community and it is helping me to stay motivated. I am sooooo glad I found MFP - this recording food thing is really working for me. I really appreciate your encouragement. I've only told two people in the real world that I am trying to lose weight because I don't want to sabotage myself. I've done that in the past - it seems like the minute I tell people, I then feel like I am going to have to prove something to them, and then - sabotage! It's weird. I don't want to have to give updates to them - too much pressure. But since we are all in the same boat here, I don't have to worry about that.THAT IS AMAZING! congratulations and welcome - I hit Onderland again myself today! GO US!!!!! Keep up the great work and don't look back!
Congrats to you too! Yes, GO US!! GO ALL OF US!!!
I hope you will all join me in a cuppa . . .
