I see so many Pre and Post workout shakes,just wondering are they any good?and what about Protein shakes?i workout thrice a week,do I need all of that stuff?

pre / post workout shakes are bro science.
IF you train better with food, then have one, if not, don't. I train better on an empty stomach, and then just eat when I'm hungry after my workout. No need to rush home and have a shake. Fitness magazines have brainwashed people into think you NEED A SHAKE.
A protein shake, is nothing more than a means to meet your required protein intake goal. If you find you don't like eating meat / fish / eggs so much every day, than a shake might be useful.0
