    Good morning!

    YAY! I'm SO excited that I am only up 1 pound! I really thought I was going to be up like 5! So YAY! Now...time to get it back off! Started the Ripped in 30 last night and it felt GREAT! Man...I LOVE Jillian! Hoping to do it 6 days a week with some added running!

    back from vet. at first they thought it was his pancreas. which that and kidneys fail with diabetes. so texting back and forth with DH while they run the test. it was decided we would need to put him down. there is no hope once these start failing. vet came back it is a virus, sorta like doggie flu. if not better in 1-2 days than it's worse. he hasn't eaten in 24 hours. we had to change rooms cause he popped everywhere and than again in the new room, so they just put a towel down. poor little guy. lots of pills and got two shots.

    well off to have a snack. i just realized i didn't eat breakfast. so early lunch and nap.

    today has been a good day so far. dinner makes me a bit nervous.... as we don't have much food in the house and wont have $$$ to grocery shop until friday... will have to make do.

    warning. mini vent. so there are 88 days until my BFF's wedding... I really need to focus. I will be so mad at myself if I don't feel / look good ... I don't want to dread looking at the pictures. she is getting this great photographer, and the bridal party is going to do a fun photo shoot with props (funny things)... should be really fun and cute... and I really want to enjoy it... not be worrying about sucking it in or flabby arms... (you get the picture :laugh: )... day-2 of my new plan is going well... my goal is to get down to 140 / 145 lbs by the wedding... I think I can do it as the first 10 lbs tend to go quickly once I get my eating on track... and the rest will be hard work, but i can do it. the bf and i are going running again tonight... cleaning the house, and playtime with the pups is on the agenda for tonight!

    chipper. hoping for the best for your pup!

    what a day this has turned out to be. just really depressed right now. poor boomers won't eat. we are almost at 48 since he ate. he did hold down his meds. my house stinks from his mishaps last night. been cleaning, phones been ringing, 4am wake call been coming down hard. and i ate big time at snack time. but, back at it. it didn't taste good at all. going for my walk tonight. may only be a short one, cuase it's in the mid 90s and it's hot. i am hitting the gym tomorrow. DH got his membership. they gave him a deal. he really wanted it. so we scraped the bottom of the check book and got it.

    had an ok evening. didn't sleep well. boomer is still really sick. DH says he seems a little better to him. he just sleeps. i don't know.

    shanell and i are doing zumbia tonight. different teacher. i saw how she did things the other night. very different than the one we had. but, she was a stand it. worth a try.

    nothing planned for today. so i think i will do some housework. too hot for yardwork, that i will do this weekend.

    1 lb really isn't bad, I was hoping for more. But my expectations were way up there!

    Em, I understand completely about being a bridesmaid, only 31 days until I am the Matron of Honor at a wedding. Of course, by then I will no longer be married, so then what?! lol -- maybe I just will get the boot and won't have to be in it! Just kidding (about wanting to get kicked out, not about getting divorced) But the bride want's me to meet all of these men at the wedding. Granted I am not even close to being ready to date again, what if eventually I am and I would like to meet one of them. It's all very stressful! :ohwell:

    Had a good and bad night last night. Good burning Rip workout and run outside. Snacked horribly! But still stayed under in calories!

    Plan today:
    Food--
    B-Chocolate chex, skim milk, coffee w/sugarfree creamer
    S-Banana, cereal bar
    L-Mixed green salad, baby tomatos, cucumber, spritzer dressing, light yogurt, popcorn
    S-fresh strawberries
    D-??? Probably pizza or some scrambled eggs...busy evening tonight
    S-??? Probably FF frozen yogurt

I can't seem to keep my late-afternoon snacking under control... :grumble: but it is a new day and I have been keeping up with the activity... tonight we are going to do intervals. last night we went for a walk after yard work and took the pups to the skate park... they like to play on all the stairs and ramps and jumps...:laugh: goofy guys.

    chipper, I am so sorry the pup is so sick... bandit got really sick a couple weeks ago... he just slept and slept and slept... (the meds made him sick and tired... hopefully it is the same for your pup)... you may want to try rice and lean ground beef (cooked w/o any oil etc) when he doesn't feel well that seems to work... and the vets reccomend it

    kristin. I would call that a good night! :flowerforyou: keep up the hard work!

    stacy. don't worry you will have a great time, and look amazing. who wouldn't want lots of good looking guys trying to pick them up :wink: we can do this! :flowerforyou:

    Kris - good job on only 1lb gain! i might look at JM ripped.... gettting a bit fed up of shred - is it really really hard??
    Chipper - I'm sorry about your dog, its horrible when a pet gets ill. I used to have a chocolate labby but unfortunately she passed away last year. I do miss having a dog about the place. I hope he gets better soon and sleeping lots will be good for him :-(
    Stacey - you'll have a great time and as mlek says... look amazing! Chat with all the handsome chappies but don't go anywhere if you don't feel ready. Be confident and wonderful and single and have a fabulous day :-)


    I'm still at work (taking a short break to catch up with you all) got a massive report to finish in... ummm ..... about 30minutes!? Not going to happen! So thats my evening run cancelled as I'll have to finish the report tonight. I feel a bit stressy with work so will do a nice long yoga sesh when I get home tonight and then JM tomorrow morning before work.

    he's diabetic so he has to have special food. i can't give him his insulin because he's not eating. vet said to try a hard boiled egg or the chicken and rice. has to be bland and no fat. he spit out the egg when i put it in his mouth. we are having chicken for dinner tonight. vet said she wasn't too worried about his sugars, this illness has to be dealt with first right now. the vomiting and diarrhea has stopped at least. he has picked up his head when the other dog barked.

    I can't remember if I told you all, but I bought my house yesterday!!!!! and... graduated from medical school of Friday... so I am a DOCTOR now. Was in NC closing on the house so I didn't check in yesterday. I am packing ALL day and it's getting old. I'm just ready to get into my new house and out of the apartment. :-)

    a little more than 1 month til residency starts. So I'm just gonna pretend I don't know what's coming and enjoy my SUMMER!

    yea DOCTOR tiff. you worked so hard for this. when is the move?

    plans for today, clean house, than do yard work, shower, chill for day, 7pm walk. now what for dinner? i get tired of thinking of something for dinner. boomer is doing better, didn't eat breakfast. that's ok, slowly he is getting better. maybe some fish, haven't had that for awhile.

    Thanks Cathy :-) I DID work hard for this... and I've know you all at least since my FIRST year of medical school. where has the time gone!?

    I am moving tomorrow. or as soon as I can get these dag on boxes packed! I am surrounded by clutter and it's annoying! lol I got the house on Tuesday and don't want to be long without living in it... :-)
