How are people able to draw using blending and different techniques? I'm very confused! I see you can buy more colors but that's it. What am I missing?

They use different techniques involving the size of the stroke (lol) and the opacity. I love that app. I just use the basic free colors and can shade, blend, etc.
These techniques work near, far, wherever you are...
